The State of Missouri is currently working to vaccinate residents that fall under Phase 1A, Phase 1B - Tier 1, Phase 1B- Tier 2, March 15- Tier 1B- Tier 3



Healthcare personnel and staff who may have direct or indirect exposure to SARS-CoV-2 and are unable to work from home.

Teachers & Education

Water/Wastewater Workers

Energy Workers

Critical Manufacturing Workers

Food & Agriculture Workers

High Risk


Those at increased risk for severe COVID-19 illness, including those 65 years of age or older, may receive priority:




Chronic Kidney Disease

Heart Conditions such as heart failure, CAD (coronary artery disease) or

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Chronic Heart Disease

Intellectual and/or developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome

Immunocompromised state from solid organ transplant


Sickle Cell Disease

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics hosted by the Cape Girardeau County Health Department. Both medical and non-medical volunteers are needed.
